about

hello, I’m alexia!

me

I’m a security strategist, hacker, and curious human living in the Pacific Northwest. I have a career-spanning obsession with making what we build more efficient, reliable, and secure through automation! I am forever interested in how the practices of security and resilience are effectively applied to complex systems.

Most recently, I’ve been an information security advisor to engineering and security leaders at Fortune 500s and critical infrastructure providers across sectors including satellite communications, aviation, and manufacturing. I’m proud of my prior public sector work which included securing Washington’s elections infrastructure and safeguarding the data of citizens receiving social and health services.

Outside of tech, I am interested in gardening and wildcrafting. I play banjolele, fiddle (learning), and synth. Lately, I’ve been working with local mutual aid projects, developing mesh and ham radio skills, and making medicine and skincare products out of plants.

I use she/her pronouns.
